Oh dear.

I appear to have misplaced the sketchbook with my new comics in it.

Changes

The next two comics will be guest comics by my little sister. She has an odd sense of humor, and so they might not make sense to everyone... but then, mine don't either. Either way, her art is excellent, and she designed the BlOOP version of herself which I copied. Now, this isn't change. The real change is that starting with those guest comics, my sister will be inking all the comics here. You'd think that wouldn't change too much, but it does. She has an amazingly steady hand, and while the art still retains my style, the quality is superior. In addition, there may be some changes to the site here, such as a possible disproportionatevociferation.com or something, on which my sister may post her comics as well. She's really a talented lil freshman.

Anyway, thought I'd let you all know.

Incidentally, is it just me or does Ken from Bearmageddon look like Hipster?

I'm calling you out, Ethan Nicolle!

I lied.

My good inking pen ran out of ink. The new comic is gonna have to wait.

Crap.

Comics are done, but now my computers in the shop. I have my mom's computer, and no way to scan. FML.

So this is why I haven't posted anything.

I've still been drawing the comics, just forgetting to upload them... because I was playing Sid with some toys. =/ It's time consuming.

yeah, I'm a nerd. BUT it will all be worth it in time. I'm working on something pretty awesome :D

Unrelated: I'm a hater.

Raising awareness

Raise awareness! If everyone is aware of the issue, it'll magically disappear, right!?

I think raising money directly is a whole heckuvalot better than awareness.

Times may be inconsistent this quarter, though I'm still doing my best to keep to the M/W/F schedule with occasional extras. Eagle Quest continues later this week.

Oh hai

There was no comic on January 7th. You know why? It was my birthday, and I was hanging out with friends, getting my Eagle award, and playing Republic Commando.

New storyline starting soon. Sunday will have a couple small comics about going back to school.

So Here's The Deal, Guys

So I'm currently visiting family. I knew I wouldn't have access to a scanner after I got here, so I wrote and scanned about 7 pages worth of material before leaving. Unfortunately, my computer will not function outside of safe mode right now. No idea what's wrong. CPU usage at 2%, everything looks calm, no unnecessary processes... it just locks up anytime I open/save/close something, or try to use the start menu. All of this to say, my comics will be delayed until I can either convince my mother that my comic warrants installing graphics software on her laptop, or until I can get home and use my desktop. Either way, comics don't seem to be happening. I'll be back home New Year's Eve, and alllll six pages shall inundate you then.

Cheers, all.

Slow Week

Comics will be few and far between this week. This is one of my last weeks of normal school up at the community college, and as such, lots of time will be eaten up by last-minute school cramming. But, I will be making use of what free time I DO have to get a few weeks of EPIC material planned, so that the comic moves more smoothly as the Christmas holiday begins! Woo!

Stuff

So, like, you know. I didn't like post today or anything, you know, so like, I just wanted to like let you know that like, there won't be an episode tomorrow either, but like, I'll be back on Tuesday.

Oh my gosh it hurts to type like that. I have no idea why I did.

Anyway, Thanksgiving week should wrap up the Klaxons gig storyline, after which we'll delve into some older material (pre-Blog era), or maybe take a look at Shopping Adventures with Taylor, or even discuss in detail what it means to be a gunfighter. I'm sure you're all wondering how that could actually apply to life, right? Well, it's quite simp- no, no, if I explain now, that'll take all the fun out of it for later.

Unrelated:

People who love me and stuff should totally mail me these items in the guise of Christmas presents:
Batman: The Animated Series DVDs
Teeshirts (Batman, Hellboy, Star Wars, Star Trek, whatever)
Starbucks gift cards
Gas cards
Subway gift cards
The Domino Pattern by Timothy Zahn
DC Universe 3 ¾” figures (a Joker, Batman, or other related characters would be cool)
Gift cards to various places I might like to spend money on clothes or whatnot.
A Russian Mail-Order Bride. Actually, disregard. I'd rather get an American by my own merits.
So yeah. Anyway. I hate Mondays.

Proportions Are Overrated...

"I'm still going to have a life, though, right?"

"Life is relative. Would you still have a social life? Of course. It would be different, but you'd still have that. Would you still have family and friends? Of course! Would your heart still beat, and your brain still wave? As long as you avoid the psychoactive substances at the after-party."

"Fine, fine... way to get literal."

"I wasn't being literal. I was just blowing it out of proportion."

Where does this all come from? To answer in short (which means I'll figure out a way to drag it on forever anyway), I am a drama queen. King. Whatever. The most perfect form of humor as I see it is the art of exaggeration. Taking things one step farther. Ignoring the facts and replacing them with something far greater, something far more interesting. In a sense, blowing things out of proportion.

WATCH THIS SPACE! Starting in the next week, my sister and I will begin publishing our comics here on this blog! Watch for great titles such as my Blown Out Of Proportion, and my sister's brilliant Important Things and Used Cat!

I'm pretty excited.
